ETHICAL QUANDARIES

This week was very strange. We missed Monday and came in late Wednesday, so a few ISM classes were missed. Regardless, it was a successful week. Another research assessment was completed, a few professionals were found and contacted, the stars opportunity was taken advantage of and the topic proposal was taken care of.

The topic proposal was, unfortunately, done after the fact but, regardless, completing it means I can move forward. Medical ethics is for sure my choice of study this year. It’s going to be very interesting to learn about medicine from a more philosophical point of view. It will hopefully add another beneficial layer of respective to my previous study.

In regards to contacting professionals, one of the gals from last week, some progress was actually made. Although I now need to update my contact log, several new contacts were added and contacted. Although nothing certain has been set up yet, I have hope. Interviews are certainly proving more difficult to obtain this year for whatever reason, but they are not impossible and I will succeed eventually. I added my name to the stars list so hopefully an opportunity will appear there, also.

Finally, I finished another research report on an ethical debate. Although the topics seem to be running out, they are obviously not. However I am having to think a little bit harder and look further to find interesting debates,

The goal for next week is simple: get interviews. This will require calling and following up but my goal is to have at least one interview by the end of the week. It’s time.
