RESEARCH PRESENTATIONS

This week was mainly focused around research presentations, leaving only about half the usual amount of time to complete necessary work. Of course, research presentations themselves are important and necessary work, so it’s not like the time was wasted. However, some work to do very much need to get done did get neglected.

As I noted the research presentation was the most important part of the week, so of course I will mention it in this paragraph. The presentation done by the person typing this weekly report was a good learning experience, and, as it did last year, it will certainly boost and elevate the rest of any presentations given by the writer of this weekly report for the rest of the year. Not everything was perfect, obviously, as it never is. However, my preparation allowed the success and the minor errors can easily be fixed next time by paying special attention to these troubled areas. Such trouble areas include perhaps not being specific enough on research, not including enough pictures or visual interest in my slides, and giving long pauses. These are all things that the writer of this weekly report plans to work on.

Furthermore, in regards to the research assessments, listening to others presentations was almost equally as hopeful as listening to one zone. For, when you hear the work of others, their passions, and understand where they need to improve, it allows a greater sense of self awareness which, in turn allows improvement on one zone presentation. Some of the critiques given two other people, the writer of this weekly report plans to use in the future presentations made by the rider.

In other news, I deal was made that guarantees that at least two interviews will be obtained in the upcoming week. Obviously, the person writing this week he report has been saying the same statement in the past weekly reports for a couple months now, but this time the writer actually means it can’ obviously, the person writing this week and report has been saying the same statement in the past weekly reports for a couple months now, but this time the rider actually means it. And ISM, interviews are integral to success so this is not something that can be blowing off, as the writer of this week report husband wont to do.

And the upcoming week, as previously mentioned, much attention will be paid to finding interviews. The remaining time will be spent getting ahead on assessments and performing a self-evaluation on the research assessment, which the writer of this weekly report has already begun thinking about. The future looks bright.
