FIRST INTERVIEW

This week was important for a few reasons, the most important being that an interview was had. Additionally, a lot of progress was made on the original work.

The interview was amazing. It was back at UT Southwestern which almost felt like a home base. Dr. Michael Reese, the medical researcher interviewed even knew Dr. Wetzel and Phillips which was interesting but of course the medical community is rather small. Most importantly, this was the first time I was able to talk to anyone about the bioethics aspect of their work. Dr. Reese has amazing answers and it was obvious these things and issues are things and issues he thinks about everyday. This makes my field of study feel extremely relevant, and makes me excited to keep working.

Furthermore, work was continued on original work. A list was compiled of professionals working in the field. Furthermore, a bit has been written on possible solutions, as well as a very basic outline of what the research part of the report will contain.

The plan for next week is to call these professionals, continue further work on the original work, and plan the display board.
