With the research showcase date fast approaching, most my current projects and assignments are centered around preparing for the research showcase. I was able to spend the past week working on my display board, survey analysis, and portfolios.

 

My display board, which I purchased and began over the break, is almost finished. I have finished the title, although I still need to add my name. I was a bit unsure what information I should include at first, but I ended up including the parts of my original work I had done (I will finish adding them when my original work is done), my mentor bios, information about myself and ISM, and pictures. I am really happy with the way my board is looking so far.

 

In addition, I continued work on my original work. Right now, I am creating my plan for increasing awareness and usage of the flu vaccine. I finished my survey analysis with help from the statistics textbook, and I noticed some interesting trends. I think I have some good ideas to increase usage, and I think I will focus on advertisement strategies which might lead to further research into advertisement.

 

Finally, I worked on little projects like passing out my invitations for the showcase and making sure both of my portfolios are up to date. I’m very excited about the showcase, and right now I’m trying to stay ahead of my work so that I don’t get too stressed.
